Electrical Engineer III

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer complex electrical control systems and machine automation for high-speed machinery
• Manage project direction from initial concept through final prototype testing and validation
• Develop electrical schematics, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and automation programming including PLC, HMI, and servos
• Perform peer reviews of new designs and lead cross-functional design reviews
• Ensure all electrical control systems comply with NEC, Machinery Code, and CE safety standards
• Assist in the design, engineering, and testing of prototype and experimental machines
• Coordinate work with drafters and electricians to ensure accurate implementation and testing

Requirements

• BSEE or substantial equivalent experience in Electrical Machine Design, Controls, and Logic
• 8 years of engineering experience, preferably in machine manufacturing and high-speed machinery controls
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical and Rockwell Software Contrologix 5000
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management standards
• Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software and ability to create Bills of Materials

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of CE (European Safety Standards)
• Experience with structured text programming
