Electrical Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Undertake daily engineering tasks and solve complex technical challenges related to design and documentation changes
• Develop new and improve existing electrical and electromechanical designs
• Maintain design documentation, electrical schematics, single line diagrams, 3D CAD models, and Bill of Materials (BOMs)
• Collaborate with Change Managers and stakeholders to develop change rollout plans
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) project teams during the technical transfer process
• Support production engineering and manufacturing teams for new product launches and change implementation
• Gather feedback from production and after-sales teams to implement design improvements

Requirements

• Technical or Engineering qualification
• At least 3 years of experience in electrical design for industrial equipment and machinery
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering and manufacturing principles
• Knowledge of CE and UL standards related to electrical safety of machinery and equipment
• Proficiency in E-Plan and electrical design best practices
• Ability to work outside normal office hours due to differing time zones and occasional travel
• Commercial awareness regarding cost impacts on engineering decisions
