Electrical Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Perform circuit analysis, simulation, design, and documentation for microwave RF circuits and hardware
• Conduct troubleshooting and resolution of hardware performance issues and hardware integration
• Design Special Test Equipment (STE) hardware and software as part of a collaborative team
• Test Microwave RF circuits, Radio Frequency Assemblies (RFAs), Microwave Integrated Circuits (MICs), and Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs)
• Analyze hardware specifications to determine technical requirements
• Collaborate with test technicians, operations managers, Quality Assurance, and Reliability personnel to develop productivity enhancements

Requirements

• MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM major
• U.S. citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience testing and troubleshooting electrical circuits in a lab environment
• Proficiency with standard EE lab equipment such as Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators
• Experience with design software including Keysight ADS, Sonnet EM, Ansys HFSS, or AutoCAD
• Proficiency in software tools such as C, C++, LabWindows CVI, or Matlab
• Academic coursework in RF and Microwave Circuit Design
