About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to integrate and test electronics hardware at subassembly and system levels
- Perform hardware safety checks, initial power-on, and support integration through qualification testing
- Troubleshoot hardware and system-level issues using lab equipment and engineering documentation
- Execute test procedures, collect data, and evaluate hardware performance against requirements
- Document test results, integration activities, and technical issues for briefings and status updates
- Work in lab and clean room environments handling sensitive hardware and sensor systems
Requirements
- STEM degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
- Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Experience in a lab environment integrating and testing electronics hardware
- Proficiency with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimeters
- Ability to interpret engineering documentation including schematics and block diagrams
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in low-volume, high-complexity development or production environments
- Experience with FPGA, SoC, or microcontroller-based systems
- Proficiency using MATLAB for data analysis or test support
- Experience with high-speed digital interfaces (e.g., DDR, flash memory)
- Exposure to optical or imaging systems and Linux-based operating systems
