Electrical Engineer II

Responsibilities

• Reverse engineer airborne and ground obsolete systems by analyzing design and functionality
• Create and review electrical schematics, designs, and technical documentation
• Perform general electrical engineering tasks and evaluate standard engineering techniques
• Work in lab spaces for the fabrication, operation, installation, and repair of electrical products
• Support sustainment engineering for Air Force and DoD customers to modernize legacy systems

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a similar field from an ABET accredited school
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a related field
• US Citizenship is required
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate or Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Experience with Electrical CAD software
• Programming experience
• Knowledge of DoD and manufacturing standards and codes
• Strong logical thought process for root cause investigations
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
