About the role
Responsibilities
- Design hardware for control systems in the hydropower sector
- Develop system concepts based on project tenders and customer requirements
- Provide technical project and engineering support for excitation systems, turbine governors, and electrical balance of plant equipment
- Design and dimension control cabinets and select required system components
- Create circuit and terminal diagrams and wiring lists using CAD/CAE systems
Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering, automation, or information technology
- Several years of professional experience in electrical design
- Knowledge of VDE and DIN-EN standards and electrical safety technology
- Experience with Siemens and Rockwell control systems
- Proficiency in CAD/CAE systems such as RUPLAN or EPLAN P8
