About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple project teams of electrical hardware engineers and development partners through all stages of design and development.
- Oversee the complete process of product design for complex electrical hardware products, solutions, and platforms.
- Conduct part qualification processes, including product quality plans, equipment inspections, and manufacturing process qualifications.
- Review and evaluate designs for compliance with technology guidelines and standards to improve product quality.
- Identify opportunities for optimizing product output, quality enhancements, and cost of delivery.
- Develop cost estimates, business cases, and appropriation requests for engineering projects.
- Drive innovation by integrating new technologies into the electrical hardware design organization.
- Provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced staff members.
Requirements
- Four-year or Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- 7-10 years of professional work experience in electrical design and tools.
- Proven expertise in power optimization strategies and advanced power management.
- Experience with power-thermal co-efficients and electronic hardware architecture.
- Proficiency with technical tools such as MATLAB, Python, C++, or Schematic Capture.
- Strong knowledge of hardware design, debugging, and printed circuit boards (PCB).
