Electrical Engineer, Hardware Systems

Responsibilities

• Own schematic design and drive PCB layout for accelerator boards and system hardware including high-speed digital, power delivery, and clocking
• Design and validate power-delivery networks (PDN) and rails for high-current accelerator silicon
• Bring up new boards in the lab to debug, characterize, and validate against specifications
• Drive component selection, DFM/DFT for boards, and work with contract manufacturers and vendors
• Partner across silicon, packaging, SI/PI, thermal, and firmware teams to close electrical issues
• Use and develop AI-assisted tool flows to accelerate design and debug

Requirements

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years in board/system-level electrical design for complex high-speed digital systems
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design (Altium, Cadence Allegro, or equivalent)
• Proficiency with high-speed interfaces such as DDR/LPDDR, PCIe, and SerDes
• Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes, logic/protocol analyzers, and power/thermal instrumentation
• Solid grounding in signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC at the board level

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with high-current PDN for accelerators/GPUs
• Server/board design at hyperscale
• Experience with FPGA-based systems
• Firmware or low-level bring-up experience
• Thermal co-design expertise
• Proficiency with ANSYS HFSS, SIwave, or equivalent EM tools
