Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build prototypes and production electronic systems, including circuit design and PCB layout
• Develop embedded firmware and manage system bring-up and validation
• Own end-to-end projects, focusing on shipping high-quality products
• Design complex subsystems such as sensors, actuators, and optoelectronics
• Use simulations and experiments to back up design decisions with data
• Support designs throughout the entire product life cycle, from research to debugging field failures

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and debugging electronics for commercial products
• Generalist expertise in analog and digital design, PCB layout, and validation techniques
• Experience working with electronics that interact with the physical world
• Ability to integrate electronics with mechanical designs and software

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with embedded software development (C/C++ microcontroller firmware)
• Experience with device drivers or board support packages for embedded Linux
• Experience with C++ application development
