Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and build prototypes and production electronic systems, including circuit design and PCB layout
• Develop embedded firmware and manage system bring-up and validation
• Own end-to-end projects, including the design of subsystems like sensors, actuators, and optoelectronics
• Use simulations and experiments to back up design decisions
• Support designs throughout the entire product life cycle, from early research to debugging field failures

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and debugging electronics for commercial products
• Proficiency in analog and digital design, PCB layout, validation, and debugging techniques
• Experience working with electronics that interact with the physical world (integration of mechanical and software components)
• Hands-on approach to hardware development and troubleshooting

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with embedded software development in C or C++
• Experience with device drivers or board support packages for embedded Linux systems
• Experience with C++ application development
