Responsibilities

• Design and build prototypes and production electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, embedded firmware development, bring up and validation
• Own projects from end to end as a full-stack engineer
• Design subsystems such as sensors, actuators, and optoelectronics
• Back up design decisions with data gathered through simulations and experiments

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience designing and debugging electronics for products
• Generalist expertise in analog and digital design, PCB layout, validation, and debugging
• Experience working with electronics that interact with the physical world
• Hands-on approach to supporting designs throughout the product life cycle

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with embedded software development (C or C++)
• Experience with device drivers or board support packages for embedded Linux
• C++ application development experience
