Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, characterize, and optimize automotive electronic products including controllers and wiring harnesses
• Develop electronic quotes and schematics for new program pursuits
• Create specifications for electronic controllers, stepper motors, and communication systems (LIN, CAN-FD)
• Provide in-house electronic support to manufacturing plants and product engineering teams
• Interface with OEM customers through design reviews and technical presentations
• Manage simultaneous projects, integrating OEM requirements while managing supplier expectations

Requirements

• 5 years of experience with a Master's degree, or 10 years of experience with a BSEE
• Proven experience in circuit design and simulation using Pspice, Altium, or equivalent systems
• Experience with embedded microcontroller applications using C or C++
• Strong understanding of DFMEAs, DVP&Rs, and automotive reliability requirements
• Proficiency in Worst Case Circuit Analysis and electronics design for manufacturability

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the automotive electronics industry
• Knowledge of CAN and LIN bus programming
• Experience with switching power supplies (Buck/Boost), linear power regulation, and LED design
• Skills in circuit thermal analysis and EMC circuit design robustness
