Electrical Engineer - Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACP)

Responsibilities

• Determine project scope, develop investigation plans, and establish specifications including cost, time, and sample requirements.
• Communicate with clients to discuss technical issues, explain UL procedures, negotiate completion dates, and resolve concerns.
• Examine product samples for compliance with UL requirements and notify clients of any non-compliance or changes in scope.
• Coordinate laboratory activities by preparing data sheets, scheduling work for technicians, and reviewing results.
• Establish appropriate test programs by reviewing manufacturer information and applying relevant standards.
• Prepare technical reports, follow-up service procedures, and information pages to communicate project status.
• Assist in the development of UL requirements, special test methods, and test equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
• 1+ years of experience in an engineering or industrial laboratory environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.

• Estimated salary range of $70,000.00 - $85,000.00.
