Electrical Engineer Fellow

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, debug, modify, and test electrical circuits and systems
• Establish strategies for MRI testing and evaluation of implantable devices
• Create schematics, layouts, and BOMs using Altium Designer
• Document electrical development through reports, memos, and change requests
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technicians
• Collaborate with process development, quality, manufacturing, and regulatory teams
• Solve complex engineering problems using root cause analysis and statistical methodologies

Requirements

• BS in Electrical Engineering or related field
• 10+ years of Electrical Engineering experience in medical device or highly regulated industries
• Strong lab experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
• Proficiency with change management tools like JIRA, AccuRev, or Windchill
• Ability to analyze test results and perform risk analysis
• Ability to work onsite in Arden Hills, MN

Preferred Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in automated and manual testing in the active implantable medical device domain
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl
• Knowledge of standards like ISO 10974 or PC76
• Experience in system development lifecycle processes
