Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design and draw power, fire alarm, lighting, telecom and security plans for various building types using AutoCAD and REVIT
• Complete analyses of electrical distribution systems, electrical load calculations, and photometric calculations
• Perform building code reviews and energy code compliance calculations
• Conduct site surveys and construction observations including equipment assessment and compliance reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or technology from an EAC/ABET certified program
• 5+ years of experience with the design of electrical systems
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or REVIT
• Knowledge of common power systems
• EIT or PE certification preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
