Electrical Engineer

About the Company

The Anthro joint venture between Egis and VVB Engineering will provide comprehensive turn-key services for London’s state-of-the-art HS2 gateway station at Old Oak Common. We have been awarded a multi-year contract to deliver MEPHFC (Mechanical, Electrical Public Health, Fire and Communications) systems works.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor technical submittals for approval by the client
• Produce electrical designs to project requirements
• Develop design from feasibility up to As Built
• Produce design proposals and sketches for agreement with stakeholders
• Write project communications including RFIs and meeting minutes
• Maintain trackers, registers, and schedules
• Carry out design reviews and work to design assurance processes

Requirements

• Electrical Engineering qualification
• Experience in rail station or buildings electrical services design and coordination
• Experience in an engineering production environment
• Experience with 3D models in a BIM environment
• Experience producing drawings, schedules, and calculations
• Knowledge of British Standards and Regulations
• Proficiency with engineering software such as Trimble/Amtech Pro Design, Dialux, or Relux
• Right to work in the UK

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in multi-disciplinary design and coordination
• Ability to manage design interfaces and integration processes
• Understanding of project scopes, requirements, and works information
