Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Create precise electrical design deliverables including one-line diagrams, control schematics, and submittal packages
• Confirm accuracy of project materials and review vendor bid packages for technical precision
• Perform detailed branch circuit and feeder calculations on power distribution equipment
• Specify and size components to meet design requirements
• Partner with Production, Procurement, Project Management, and Sales teams to drive continuous improvement
• Interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or project environments
• Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Experience with low voltage (600 volts and below) power distribution systems
• Knowledge of low voltage controls systems and industrial automation
• Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
• Experience using electrical test equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with QA/QC and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
• Experience with PLCs, motion-control, HMIs, and instrumentation
