About the role
Responsibilities
- Create precise electrical design deliverables including one-line diagrams, control schematics, and submittal packages
- Confirm accuracy of project materials and review vendor bid packages for technical precision
- Perform detailed branch circuit and feeder calculations on power distribution equipment
- Specify and size components to meet design requirements
- Partner with Production, Procurement, Project Management, and Sales teams to drive continuous improvement
- Interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, construction, or project environments
- Solid knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
- Experience with low voltage (600 volts and below) power distribution systems
- Knowledge of low voltage controls systems and industrial automation
- Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD Electrical or EPLAN
- Experience using electrical test equipment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with QA/QC and Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
- Experience with PLCs, motion-control, HMIs, and instrumentation
