About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design lighting, power distribution, and low voltage systems for commercial, industrial, and military construction
  • Use Revit for electrical modeling and design
  • Travel to job sites to verify existing conditions and gather data
  • Coordinate with electric utility company representatives
  • Meet with clients to discuss project requirements and technical concepts
  • Conduct building assessments and prepare detailed reports
  • Manage varied workloads across multiple projects to meet deadlines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical engineering field
  • Experience with electrical design from initial concept to completion
  • Knowledge of building codes including NEC, NFPA, and IBC
  • Proficiency in electrical building design, power distribution, and lighting
  • Ability to travel 5% - 10%

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Power Tools for Windows (PTW), or Easy Power
  • FE or PE Licensure
  • RCCD Certification
