Neuralink is creating devices that enable a bi-directional interface with the brain to restore movement to the paralyzed, restore sight to the blind, and revolutionize human-digital interaction.

Responsibilities

• Design, verify, and oversee the transition to production of custom electronics systems
• Focus on FPGA-based hardware and real-time processing
• Execute projects including high-speed image processing pipelines, real-time motor control, and custom camera designs
• Integrate robotics stage sensors and manufacturing automation
• Develop firmware to enable device functionality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Professional experience in all phases of electronics design (requirements, part selection, schematic, layout, manufacturing, test)
• Deep expertise in FPGA Hardware Design (RTL development, Verilog/SystemVerilog)
• Experience with high-speed interface design (PCIe, MIPI, SLVS-EC, LVDS, JESD204, Ethernet)
• Knowledge of digital signal processing theory and implementation
• Practical knowledge of EMC, ESD, thermals, and packaging

Preferred Qualifications

• Portfolio showcasing hardware designs, specifically FPGA-based projects
• Experience developing electronics for safety-critical systems (medical, aerospace, automotive, or military)
• Proficiency with Altium
