Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical designs for EV charging stations, including AC/DC chargers, power distribution, and load management
• Prepare and review electrical drawings, schematics, and technical documentation using AutoCAD
• Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) to ensure accurate procurement
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of EV charging stations and associated electrical systems
• Ensure all projects comply with UAE regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA) and safety standards (IEC, IEEE)
• Conduct site assessments, technical feasibility reports, and routine inspections
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with contractors and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field
• 3-5 years of experience in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or EV charging solutions
• Proficiency in designing LV and HV electrical systems, including load calculations and cable sizing
• Hands-on experience with AutoCAD for creating electrical schematics
• Strong knowledge of UAE local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA)
• Ability to work on-site at various locations across the UAE and flexibility to work shifts if required

Preferred Qualifications

• DEWA, ADDC, or SEWA-approved engineer certification
• Estidama certification
• Certification in EV charging systems or renewable energy integration
• Familiarity with ADNOC standards
