Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design embedded electronic control systems throughout the entire product lifecycle, including concept, design, validation, and manufacturing.
• Perform electronic component selection, architecture selection, circuit design, and simulation.
• Execute schematic capture, PCB layout, and BOM creation using Cadence or equivalent software.
• Implement analog signal conditioning and Analog to Digital Conversion (ADC) using discrete components and integrated circuits.
• Apply EMC mitigation techniques to address radiated and conducted emissions and susceptibility (ESD, EFT, Surge, RF Immunity).
• Utilize electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and logic analyzers to validate designs.
• Generate detailed test plan procedures and technical reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution.
• Experience in embedded electronic control system design.
• Proficiency in PCB layout, schematic capture, and electronic component selection.
• Knowledge of analog signal conditioning and high-speed digital circuitry.
• Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and other electronic test equipment.
• Understanding of EMC mitigation techniques and ESD handling.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in embedded software development.
• Minor in Computer Science.
