Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded systems for hardware control, monitoring, and automation
• Implement control systems including PID control, motor control, feedback loops, and sensor integration
• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate embedded systems into product architectures
• Conduct system-level testing, troubleshooting, and optimization of control solutions
• Work with sensor systems and communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN
• Perform simulations and develop control algorithms
• Document system specifications, design procedures, and testing protocols
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of relevant industry experience
• 3+ years of experience in embedded systems design and development
• Proficiency in Embedded C/C++ for microcontrollers and processors
• Experience with control systems design (motor control, PID loops, sensor integration)
• Knowledge of communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN)
• Experience with RTOS and embedded software development tools
• Solid understanding of circuit design, power management, and signal processing
• Familiarity with IDEs, debuggers, and Git
• Must be a US person due to export-controlled technology access

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related engineering field
• Experience with PLCs and industrial automation
• Familiarity with FPGA or ASIC design
• Experience with wireless protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Zigbee)
• Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink or LabVIEW
• Knowledge of industrial control standards such as IEC 61508
