Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Lead commissioning for facility upgrades, expansions, and new tool installations
• Develop commissioning plans and validation protocols for performance and compliance
• Author and review electrical project scopes of work (SOWs) and switching/LOTO schedules
• Provide electrical engineering support for new fab construction and tool installations
• Ensure designs comply with NEC, SEMI standards, and power quality requirements
• Champion electrical safety and maintain compliance with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and NFPA 70B
• Apply load-shedding and restoration strategies to minimize risk during outages

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Associate's degree will be considered)
• 4+ years of electrical engineering experience, including construction support and troubleshooting
• Experience with low and medium-voltage systems up to 12,000 V
• Proficiency in power distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), and VFDs
• Knowledge of electrical codes and standards including NEC, NFPA 70E, IEEE, and NETA
• Skilled in Revit and CAD drafting platforms such as AutoCAD

Preferred Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with a focus on power systems or controls
• Experience with control systems troubleshooting and commissioning
• Experience performing power systems studies, including arc flash analysis and short circuit calculations
• Background in high-reliability environments such as semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or data center facilities
