Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and implement medium and low voltage (10KV~400V) power distribution systems in data centers
• Perform load calculations, short circuit current analysis, and select protective devices
• Design electrical layout plans, tray systems, busbar systems, and cable routing
• Plan lighting and emergency lighting systems in compliance with fire safety regulations
• Design grounding and lightning protection systems to ensure IT equipment safety
• Manage power distribution design for firefighting systems, including fire pumps and smoke exhaust fans
• Implement harmonic filtering and reactive power compensation to optimize power quality
• Coordinate with construction units and suppliers to oversee on-site construction and technical testing
• Develop operation and maintenance plans to ensure 24/7 uninterrupted power supply

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power System Automation, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medium and low voltage power distribution design or O&M
• Proficiency in CAD and EPLAN software
• Deep understanding of data center power architectures (UPS, substations, etc.)
• Knowledge of GB standards (GB 50174, GB 51348) and familiarity with NEC/UL standards
• Experience with large-scale data center projects (≥1000 racks) preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer (Power Distribution) certification
• High Voltage Electrician License
• PMP certification
• Hands-on experience with UPS, transformers, and circuit breakers commissioning
