About the Company

BeeX is building the world's most advanced Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs). We specialise in providing autonomous robotics solutions to safeguard underwater infrastructure in the maritime, energy and defense sectors.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement sub-components of Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles
• Perform PCB design for electronics boards used in vehicle interfacing, operation, and control
• Design power electronics for system components, sensors, and actuator systems
• Create wire harness and cabling designs including 2D and 3D production drawings
• Develop firmware on microcontrollers such as Atmega and ARM for real-time hardware control
• Conduct bench-testing and field testing of key sensors and components
• Perform intensive in-water testing and document vehicle performance
• Execute stress testing for harsh environments including thermal, vibration, EMI-EMC, and humidity
• Gather user requirements in collaboration with management and customers

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• 3-6 years of experience designing electrical architecture for robotic systems
• Experience with battery-operated designs, embedded systems, and sensor/actuator interfacing
• Experience with low voltage power electronics design (power regulation, boost/buck conversion, etc.)
• Proficiency with Altium Designer or equivalent PCB CAD software
• Experience with 2D schematic and wire harnessing design software
• Proficiency in C++ for embedded systems programming
• Experience with Git and version control systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Python for high-level interfacing and algorithms
• Experience with quality control and testing procedures (EMI-EMC, Vibration, Temperature, Humidity)
