Electrical Engineer - Automation Technology for Wastewater Treatment Plants

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement EMSR/electrical engineering solutions for wastewater and sludge treatment projects from concept to implementation
• Develop and integrate automation, energy efficiency, and safety concepts for modern wastewater treatment plants and infrastructure systems
• Specify and dimension MSR technology and electrical components such as switchgear, sensors, and control systems
• Create and review technical documentation including circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and cable lists
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams including process engineering, mechanical engineering, and design
• Support the preparation of offers and contribute technical expertise to acquisition processes
• Take responsibility for individual sub-projects with a view toward future project management roles

Requirements

• Degree in electrical engineering, automation technology, or a comparable field, or equivalent technical training
• Several years of professional experience in planning and implementing electrical systems, ideally in plant construction or engineering offices
• Experience managing planning projects through various project phases
• Proficiency in MS Office and AVA software (ideally iTWO)
• Knowledge of VOB and HOAI standards
• Very good to business fluent German language skills
• Willingness to travel occasionally to construction sites or client meetings
