About the role

Responsibilities

  • Bring key features to product through full cycle of design, verification and validation
  • Define essential hardware requirements to support across different vehicle platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional team members internally to bring up new products and update design rapidly
  • Collaborate with auto manufacturer partners for system integration and homologation
  • Provide hardware support for mass production and field deployment

Requirements

  • 1-3+ years of industry experience or equivalent
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering
  • Proven track record in hardware development of embedded systems
  • Experience with communication protocols such as CAN, SPI, I2C, or Serial
  • Understanding of physics for analog/digital electrical systems like sensors and motors
  • Rapid prototyping capability
  • Ability to work in a hands-on environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Understanding of EMI/EMC best practices
  • Experience with production scaling
  • Experience with functional safety (ISO26262) or general safety analysis
  • Experience with HV battery systems
