Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform technical studies, analyses, investigations, and consultations to support facility operations.
• Identify and develop detailed requirements for facility infrastructure, equipment, and system modifications or upgrades.
• Design and develop solutions for complex technical problems across the electrical engineering discipline.
• Provide technical advice on proposed changes to facility infrastructure and system changes.
• Perform engineering calculations to support facility infrastructure design and operation.
• Provide recommendations on equipment reliability, maintenance, life-cycle management, and costing.
• Develop ROM costing estimates for system modifications and replacements.
• Evaluate operational systems and processes to support optimization and improvement initiatives.
• Ensure strict compliance with all site environmental, health, and safety requirements.

Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph OR Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain appropriate security clearance.
• Minimum of one year of experience with building management and control systems, including facilities operation and maintenance.
• Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications

• Post Graduate Qualifications in a relevant or related discipline.
• Familiarity with power generation, distribution, load management, and data center power systems.
• Experience with project management and leadership.
