Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and iterate on custom laboratory and automated test systems, including embedded controllers and data acquisition
• Develop and debug embedded firmware using C/C++ and supporting software such as Python or Node.js
• Design, bring-up, and debug circuit boards in a laboratory setting
• Integrate hardware and software components into reliable systems for device characterization
• Translate experimental goals into practical test setups with reliable data collection
• Collect, review, and interpret experimental performance data to prepare technical summaries for stakeholders
• Document designs, experiments, and results to support engineering and regulatory processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant hands-on engineering experience
• Experience working with embedded systems, firmware, or hardware-software integrated systems
• Strong problem-solving skills with an experimental, systems-level mindset
• Ability to work effectively with partial information to translate ideas into working systems
