Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems (LV/MV) for renewable energy plants, including cogeneration, biogas, and photovoltaic systems
• Develop electrical single-line diagrams, layouts, and comprehensive technical documentation
• Perform coordination studies for protection systems, including selectivity and short-circuit analysis
• Size electrical panels, transformers, and protection systems
• Ensure compliance with technical and safety standards such as CEI and IEC
• Interface with suppliers, internal departments (Mechanical, I&C, PM), and international clients
• Support commissioning activities and resolve technical issues on-site
• Participate in R&D activities for technical solutions and regulatory updates

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field
• At least 5 years of experience in plant engineering, preferably in energy, oil & gas, or renewables
• Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft Office
• Experience with electrical design software (e.g., Ampère, Power Factory)
• Strong knowledge of CEI and IEC technical standards
• Proficiency in English
• Willingness to travel occasionally for international client site visits
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team
