Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical installations and conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with approved designs
• Review electrical shop drawings, calculations, and method statements
• Manage the installation, testing, and commissioning of ELV and Low Current systems, including CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access Control, and Lighting Control
• Provide technical input to resolve electrical issues on-site
• Liaise daily with design teams, contractors, and project stakeholders
• Monitor project progress, deadlines, and resolve design or detailing issues
• Implement project QA procedures and adhere to QHSE policies and local regulatory guidelines

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters Degree or Chartered Engineering status is a plus)
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering consultancy firms
• Substantial site-based engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of ELV and Low Current systems
• Proficiency in CAD standards and 3D working knowledge
• Experience with Middle East projects is highly preferred
