Electrical Engineer 3

Responsibilities

• Perform conventional electrical engineering design, analysis, and calculations
• Develop, review, and support engineering design packages
• Provide construction, field, and project engineering support
• Support facility design, operation, and maintenance activities
• Apply engineering technology and tools to deliver high-quality work products
• Interface with stakeholders across disciplines in a fast-paced environment
• Provide system integration within and across disciplines
• Lead projects and supervise the work of others

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• Minimum of 6 years of relevant engineering experience
• Working knowledge of industry, regulatory, and DOE/NNSA codes and standards
• Knowledge of DOE and DoD facility standards including NQA-1, IBC, NFPA, and NEC
• Experience facilitating and developing engineering design packages
• Familiarity with engineering deliverables including construction documents
• Experience with computer-aided design/drafting software or markup tools
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance
• U.S. citizenship required
