Electrical Engineer 2

Responsibilities

• Perform conventional electrical engineering design, analysis, calculations, and evaluations
• Develop, review, revise, and support engineering design packages
• Prepare and review engineering documentation and technical deliverables
• Provide construction, field engineering, and project engineering support
• Support system integration activities within and across engineering disciplines
• Apply industry, regulatory, and DOE/NNSA requirements to engineering activities
• Interface with project personnel, engineers, operations personnel, and stakeholders
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
• Minimum of three years of relevant electrical engineering experience
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and design methodologies
• Working knowledge of DOE and NNSA codes, standards, and criteria
• Familiarity with NQA-1, IBC, NFPA, and NEC standards
• Experience with computer-aided design/drafting software and engineering markup tools
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q Clearance
• U.S. citizenship is required
