Electrical Draftsman

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical shop drawings, layouts, and schematics for EV charging projects
• Design load schedules and perform load calculations to meet project requirements
• Prepare single-line diagrams (SLDs), circuit diagrams, and as-built drawings
• Ensure all electrical designs comply with local authority standards including DEWA, ADDC, and SEWA
• Assist in preparing documentation required for obtaining authority approvals
• Collaborate with project engineers and site teams to ensure design accuracy
• Review and revise drawings to eliminate errors and maintain accurate revision records

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3–5 years of experience in preparing electrical shop drawings and designs
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other electrical design tools
• Strong knowledge of UAE and KSA authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA)
• Proven experience in preparing load schedules, SLDs, and electrical layouts
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills
