Electrical Distribution Engineer

Responsibilities

• Oversee commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of critical power systems including switchgear, transformers, and busways
• Develop detailed step plans incorporating risk analysis for all device operations
• Manage projects and schedules for large-scale, multi-team efforts
• Ensure power system uptime, performance, and operational integrity
• Manage incident response, recovery, and proper operation of electrical assets
• Perform alarm management, rationalization, and monitor equipment utilization and capacity trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
• 5+ years of relevant experience with medium and high voltage electrical distribution
• In-depth knowledge of MV Switchgear and its protections
• Experience in commissioning and testing HV/MV/LV electrical distribution equipment, including the creation of commissioning procedures
