Electrical Designer

Responsibilities

• Execute drafting and design activities using AutoCAD or Microstation
• Draft Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and schematics with engineering support
• Prepare electrical layouts independently while managing inter-discipline interfaces
• Model cable trays, light fixtures, and other electrical components in E3D or S3D environments
• Prepare material quantities for electrical bulks independently
• Utilize review tools such as NavisWorks or Smartplant Review
• Implement client requirements, local codes, and international standards relevant to electrical design
• Maintain and implement quality system requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field
• 4 to 10 years of experience in electrical engineering design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or Microstation
• Experience with E3D or S3D modeling environments
• Strong understanding of electrical concepts and 3-phase power calculations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Word)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing a small team of designers
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience providing training to junior designers in 2D and 3D design tools
