Electrical Designer

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical design packages for low and medium voltage switchgear under engineering direction
• Assist with drawing updates, BOMs, and engineering transmittals
• Support CAD activities including redlines and schematic revisions
• Maintain accurate part descriptions in engineering and ERP systems (Infor/WorkNet)
• Review and update existing part records to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Support shop floor activities and interact with production teams

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or Technology Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology or related field
• Experience reading and producing electrical schematics, one-line diagrams, and wiring diagrams
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design
• Working knowledge of UL standards, NEC, and CEC
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in custom switchgear, MCC, or power distribution manufacturing environments
