Electrical Design Engineer - Power Transformer

Responsibilities

• Join an international design and engineering team specializing in Power Transformer design up to 400 kV class.
• Influence specifications at the order stage through conceptual discussions.
• Prepare electrical order designs that meet factory limitations, guidelines, and checklists in accordance with IEEE, IEC, and IS standards.
• Prepare customer documents, manufacturing documents, and Bills of Materials (BOM) according to project schedules.
• Coordinate design activities across a worldwide network of factories.
• Participate in internal design concept reviews and ensure compliance with all applicable external and internal regulations.

Requirements

• B.E / B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• 2 to 12 years of experience in electrical design within the Power Transformer manufacturing industry.
• Strong understanding of Transformer Electrical Design, including thermal, dielectrics, short circuit, sound performance, and transformer mechanics.
• Deep knowledge of IS, IEC, and IEEE standards.
• Proficiency in English (both spoken and written) to collaborate with global technical teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related engineering tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in simulation or software development.
• Demonstrated team building and networking skills.
