About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design advanced electro-optical solutions for industry-leading sensing, targeting, and surveillance systems
  • Perform hands-on lab work in analog and digital electronics, including troubleshooting and system integration
  • Utilize industry-standard CAE tools and EE lab equipment for design, simulation, and testing
  • Develop schematics, HDL code, and conduct synthesis, simulation, and validation of designs
  • Conduct circuit analysis, component selection, and root cause analysis with corrective actions
  • Document design approaches, test results, and technical issues in a structured manner
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and support supplier interactions

Requirements

  • STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics)
  • Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in schematic capture, block diagrams, and parts lists for complex electronic systems
  • Experience in fault isolation and root cause corrective action involving complex electronic systems
  • U.S. citizenship is required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience designing airborne electronic products with stringent size, weight, and power (SWAP) constraints
  • Proficiency with Mentor Graphics Xpedition schematic capture
  • Experience working in a lab environment with equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers
  • Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering
