Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design low and medium-voltage electrical distribution systems for commercial, residential, healthcare, and industrial buildings
• Design low current systems for various building types
• Develop electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, lighting layouts, and cable routing plans
• Specify and size electrical equipment including switchgear, transformers, generators, and UPS systems
• Design internal and external lighting systems ensuring compliance with energy efficiency and emergency regulations
• Integrate building services with BMS and smart technologies
• Conduct load calculations, voltage drop, and fault level analysis
• Collaborate with architects and other engineers to align electrical designs with structural constraints

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3+ years of experience in electrical design engineering
• Proficiency in electrical CAD tools, REVIT, and design software
• Solid knowledge of electrical and building regulations
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork abilities
