Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design custom control panels, bill of materials, wiring diagrams, schematic diagrams, and one-line power distribution drawings
• Conduct IO checkout and validation
• Perform enclosure FLA and heat dissipation calculations
• Create and maintain AutoCAD Electrical templates, blocks and symbols library
• Organize and maintain project drawings and technical information
• Research components and identify electrical requirements from data sheets/manuals
• Manage time effectively across multiple projects

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (3.4 GPA minimum)
• Familiarity with electrical schematics
• Familiarity with electrical design software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical, or EPlan
• Understanding of motors, instrumentation, and other electrical components
• Ability to comprehend and explain simple control circuits
• Capability for occasional travel
• Must be a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted asylum/refugee status (ITAR compliance)
