Electrical CSU Superintendent

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety meetings and ensure full compliance with electrical safety procedures, including LOTO and permitting.
• Coordinate and oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of major electrical systems such as power distribution, switchgear, transformers, and generators.
• Conduct electrical system walk-downs to identify deficiencies and ensure readiness for testing and turnover.
• Supervise functional testing, including insulation resistance testing, continuity checks, grounding verification, and system energization.
• Troubleshoot electrical system issues and implement corrective actions during the commissioning phase.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, operations, and vendors to meet performance requirements.
• Maintain accurate commissioning documentation, including checklists, test records, redlines, and turnover packages.

Requirements

• Experience in pre-commissioning and commissioning of large-scale electrical systems (power distribution, switchgear, UPS, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams of approximately 20 electrical and instrumentation technicians.
• Familiarity with completions software and electrical system readiness workflows.
• Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills to work across multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required and relocate based on project needs.
