Responsibilities
- Build and wire electrical panels and field devices to spec
- Install and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, relays, and VFDs
- Run conduit, pull wire, and terminate connections across modular systems
- Calibrate sensors and validate control loops (thermal, gas, pressure)
- Read and interpret schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams
- Support commissioning and field deployment of systems
- Work with engineers to diagnose problems, debug issues, and maintain documentation
- Assist with continuous improvement of control systems and wiring standards
- Support cross-functional teams with prototyping, assembly, and testing
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with electrical systems and controls
- Ability to read and follow schematics and technical drawings
- Proficiency with tools, meters, and shop/lab environments
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Must be U.S.-based
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical certifications or trade licenses (Journeyman, OSHA 10/30)
- Experience with PLCs, HMIs, or industrial automation
- Background in energy systems, manufacturing, or cleantech
