Electrical, Controls & Automation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Configure, optimize, and maintain automation and control systems to ensure reliable and compliant manufacturing operations.
• Provide advanced technical support to diagnose and resolve complex automation system issues to minimize downtime.
• Lead the implementation of new automation technologies and system upgrades to existing platforms.
• Support digital manufacturing initiatives by integrating IoT and data collection devices for Smart Factory strategies.
• Ensure automation systems comply with cGMP requirements, data integrity principles, and regulatory standards.
• Manage system lifecycle documentation, including configurations, operating procedures, and validation records.
• Support Computer System Validation (CSV) activities, change controls, CAPAs, and deviation investigations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with DeltaV Distributed Control System (DCS), including configuration and batch programming.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing change controls, deviations, and CAPAs within validated systems.
• Experience supporting Computer System Validation (CSV) lifecycle deliverables and data integrity requirements.
• Strong understanding of GAMP principles and industrial automation processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), SCADA, Historian, and SAP.
• Experience with IoT-enabled manufacturing technologies and digital transformation projects.
