Electrical Construction Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple Project Managers managing various projects
• Manage up to $30 million of electrical construction projects simultaneously
• Oversee project planning, execution, job cost tracking, and closure
• Provide monthly project status and percent of completion reports
• Monitor and control projects through administrative direction of on-site foremen
• Maintain liaison with owners, contractors, and vendors
• Support an injury-free work environment and safety culture

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in selling, estimating, and managing multi-million-dollar Industrial Construction or Advanced Technology projects
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering plus 10 years of construction project experience, or equivalent field experience
• Superior knowledge of electrical codes and construction methods
• Proven experience managing 100k+ man-hour projects
• Experience with heavy power distribution systems, instrumentation installation, and process control
• Knowledge of project QA/QC procedures and system turnover
• Competency in earned-value tracking and labor efficiency index
• Ability to perform detailed take-offs and electrical project estimating
• Relevant experience in electrical subcontracting
