Electrical Construction Senior Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise multiple Project Managers managing various projects
• Manage electrical construction projects up to $30 million
• Oversee project planning, execution, job cost tracking, and closure
• Provide monthly project status and percent of completion reports
• Monitor project progress through administrative direction of on-site foremen
• Maintain liaison with owners and stakeholders to facilitate activities
• Interface with contractors, vendors, and in-house operations
• Support an injury-free work environment and safety culture

Requirements

• Minimum 15 years of experience in selling, estimating, and managing multi-million dollar Industrial Construction or Advanced Technology projects
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering plus 10 years of construction project experience, or equivalent field experience
• Proven experience managing 100k+ man-hour projects
• Experience with heavy power distribution systems, instrumentation installation, and process control
• Thorough knowledge of project QA/QC procedures and system turnover
• Competency in earned-value tracking, labor efficiency index, and crew composite factors
• Ability to perform detailed take-offs and electrical project estimating
• Relevant experience in electrical subcontracting
• Superior knowledge of electrical codes and construction methods
