About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide high level coordination support partnering with construction project management and field staff
- Manage project documentation including submittals, RFIs, and meeting minutes
- Maintain change order, submittal, and document control logs within Viewpoint
- Coordinate with subcontractors to obtain correct documentation and manuals
- Create Job Information Sheets and establish job files
- Assume temporary project supervision in the absence of the PM
- Assist with establishing workflow breakdowns and project billings
- Assist with project budget setup and payroll information accuracy
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electrical construction or similar industry
- Basic understanding of electrical drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with reading blueprints for structured cabling, building controls, fire alarm, security, and access control
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and related PC skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Strong math, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Electrical license
- Estimating and project management skills
