Electrical Commissioning Lead

Responsibilities

• Oversee all electrical commissioning activities and ensure system integrity and safety
• Direct and coordinate the daily activities of electrical construction craft and subcontractors
• Review and approve work authorizations and assist with LOTO safety checks
• Develop detailed testing plans and project-specific backfeed timelines
• Maintain updated red-line/as-built drawings and documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical commissioning issues and work with I&C/DCS leads on loop verification
• Complete all electrical pre-checkout and post-energization forms
• Submit daily activity reports and track quality incident reports

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Electrical Technology or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10 years of electrical commissioning experience specifically in power plants
• Expertise in the installation, testing, and maintenance of industrial process electrical devices and power distribution systems
• Strong knowledge of electrical principles, controls methods, and practices
• Proven ability to supervise and train staff in troubleshooting and operating electrical equipment
• Ability to create and implement project schedules to achieve commissioning goals
