Electrical Commissioning Lead

Responsibilities

• Verify that plant equipment complies with project contracts, design feasibility, and supplier requirements during commissioning and startup phases
• Act as the primary point-of-contact for all system functions through startup and plant operation
• Assist in the development of startup packages, procedures, and detailed startup schedules
• Manage construction completion, turnover to startup, and final turnover to the client
• Perform thorough system walk-downs and reviews to establish completion status and identify outstanding items
• Ensure systems are installed per design and record as-built engineering changes on drawings
• Adhere to all safety and quality standards throughout the commissioning process

Requirements

• OSHA 10 Hour Training certification
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in extreme temperatures (above 90°F or below 32°F) and varying outdoor conditions
• Ability to work up to 12-hour shifts performing physical labor in construction environments
• Ability to climb and maintain balance on steel frameworks, stairs, ladders, and scaffolds

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Engineering degree
• 3+ years of relevant startup experience
• Strong knowledge of technical principles related to power plants
• Proficiency in using tools, equipment, and instruments required for job duties
• Excellent problem-solving, planning, and communication skills
