Electrical BIM Modeler

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, ELV, and low current systems
• Coordinate with mechanical, structural, and architectural teams to ensure clash-free models and seamless integration
• Perform clash detection and resolve issues proactively using Navisworks
• Update BIM models to reflect design changes and site conditions promptly
• Assist in generating construction documents and drawings from the BIM models
• Ensure compliance with local authority regulations and company standards
• Collaborate with project teams to support BIM execution plans and project schedules

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Technology, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience as an Electrical BIM Modeler within construction projects
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks
• Experience with electrical systems modeling including power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems
• Good understanding of UAE authority regulations and BIM standards
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment
